My MCAT journey started in May of 2024, when I created my own study schedule and improved my score from a 502 to a 520 (130|128|131|131) over three months. After achieving my target score, I helped two close friends refine their approach and squeeze out valuable points.
I recenty graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Bioengineering. During college, I worked as a tutor for the SSSTrio program where I taught students 1-on-1 in calculus, chemistry, and biology.
Beyond this, I served as a mentor through BMES to help Bioengineering students navigate the pathway to medical school. Going through this process myself, I have worked as an EMT, volunteered in the hospital, shadowed, and done other extracurriculars for admission to med school.
Currently, I am in my gap year preparing for interviews, working as an MCAT tutor, and volunteering with local organizations.
Outside of school and work, my biggest passion is playing sports and working out. For the past six years, I have played ultimate frisbee competitively which has led me to visit states like Florida, Georgia, Ohio, and Tennessee. Having moved on from ultimate frisbee, I am now pursuing rock climbing and running with plans to run the Philly marathon this November.
I am also an avid movie watcher and reader when time allows. Feel free to check out my letterboxd or goodreads below!
